This view of Royal Greenwich’s town centre shows many a site all people who know and love this charming part of London will recognise.
Between the River Thames hosting the Tall Ship Parade and the lush greenery of Greenwich Park we find the Cutty Sark clipper, the iconic Old Royal Naval College area - a UNESCO world heritage site - the busy town centre around Greenwich Market, the National Maritime Museum, the Queen’s House and on top of the hill overlooking the park the Royal Observatory crossed by the Zero Meridian Line.
We see the impressive Greenwich Power Station and the tip of the Isle of Dogs on the left and Greenwich College with its massive clock tower on the right, Shooters Hill and Blackheath village can be spotted in the background.
