Winter Wonderland Christmas Market

Arty Globe is participating in this year's Christmas Market at the annual Hyde Park 'Winter Wonderland'.

The repeating loop of Christmas Carols and the screams of the kids on the Snow Storm ride opposite our stall has already made me slightly crazy (ok, maybe more than slightly) but nevertheless it is proving to be a great location for us to promote Hartwig's work, our merchandise and our shop at Greenwich.

it's always great to see just how many Londoners appreciate Hartwig's work and what we do. The feedback I had from customers was so positive that it helped withstand the 12 hours days and high noise levels all around.

Thank you to everyone who visited our stall at the Christmas Market - we hope to see you again in our shop sometime soon...

Print signing at the British Museum - 28/09/2009

What a great evening we had at the British Museum on Monday. It was the "Friends of the Museum" evening and we were invited along so Hartwig could sign Limited Edition prints of his British Museum image for people who purchased them on the night.

Arty Globe at Thames Festival 12-13/09/2009

This year we are participating in the Mayor's Thames Festival at South Bank. Our stand is part of the 'Greenwich market' area next to the National Theatre...

Thames festival is a great yearly event between London Bridge and the London Eye with lots to see, hear, smell and do. We will be showing a great selection of our products including designs which show the Thames Festival area along the south bank - these will be great memory from the event... If you are around on wither Saturday or Sunday then come and say hi...

During the event weekend our shop at Greenwich market will be open for business as usual. Hartwig (the artist) will be at the shop so if you want to meet him & say hi feel free to pop in any time during the weekend...

"A View of London" Exhibition at the Transport Museum

What a great recognition of Hartwig's talent in hand-drawing his quirky, yet very accurate and fun city views. A panel of judges from the AOI (Association of Illustrators) and the London Transport Museum have selected Hartwig's panoramic image of London in Graphic Line on Blue background to feature in an exhibition showing artists' and illustrators' view of London.

This is the image the AOI and LTM judges selected:

We were invited to the opening evening of the exhibition at the London Transport Museum and it was such a pleasure to see so many wonderful drawings and illustrations featuring London and life in London. The atmosphere was buzzing with creativity and we made a few new friends too...
